To Control Roomba by Wii remote
At Open Technology Summit [1](YZU day), the students demonstrate an interesting project which is to control the Rooma cleaning robot by the Wii remote. They use a PC104 PXA255 Single Board Computer ( ARCOM VIPER [2]) to connect the Roomba via serial port and the Single Board Computer received the Wii remote siginal via bluetooth. They choose libwiimote as the library to develop the program.

But the other idea is to buy a more expensive PDA or MID to connect the Roomba. ( Although Thinker Li reminds me that the PDA lack the GPIO function ) But as an amateur linux nerd, If I can buy an Android phone and connect it to Roomba, maybe I can use the browser to see how my Roomba to clean my house, and then ask the Android phone to take a picture at the same time, and then send me a message when Roomba finished the duty, and then ...., and then ... ...
I know they're all thinking I'm so white and nerdy[4]

不過另一個想法是買個貴一點的 PDA or MID 接上 Roomba. ( 雖然 Thinker 曾提醒我 PDA 缺乏 GPIO 的功能 ) 不過身為一個業餘的 linux 宅男, 真的很希望能夠買到 Android phone 然後接到 Roomba, 然後用瀏覽器看看我的 Roomba 打掃的狀況, 然後順便還可以拍一張像, 然後傳簡訊告訴我 Rooma 完成掃地工作, 然後 ...., 然後 ....
我知道他們都覺得我又白又宅 [4] :p

E*TRADE and PayPal
搞了幾天 終於 把 etrade 與 paypal 開放互相轉帳
主要是參考這一篇
How to Add E*Trade Investment Brokerage Trading Account as Paypal Bank Account for Withdrawal and Deposit
重點是在 PayPal 設定
My Account , Profile, Add Back Account
Country 選 US, 就會出現 上述 文章的畫面
"Bank Name" 是 ETRADE Clearing ( 不是 E*TRADE )
"Account Type" 是 Checking
"Routing Number" 是 056073573 ( 原本 etrade 舊支票上的 Routing Number 是錯的 )

書借友人 J , 所以心得第三集一直生不出來 :p
以下是憑印象寫的, 希望不會錯太多 ...
網路上可以找到非常多相關的心得, 不過都是圍繞在他的 D.E.A.L. 理論
D (Definition) 定義人生、
E (Elimination) 排除旁鶩、
A (Automation) 自動進帳、
L (Liberation) 自由逍遙
雖然有點抽象, 但其實還是有許多小技巧蠻實用的
* 減少收信的次數
* 聯絡知道答案的人，不要花太多時間在書上或網路上...
* 不用 Outlook ，前一晚列出明天的待辦事項，寫在小紙片上
除此之外，這本書其實也是個 電子商務/工作外包 的有趣範例，
( hwaliao 網友在 aNobii 的評論是: "[世界是平的] 實踐版!!" )
作者介紹了非常多好用的網站, 甚至舉了一個黑暗的市調方法:直接放上商品目錄，與結帳按紐，就直接計算點擊率與轉換率( 實際上沒有銷售該項商品 )
但很悲哀的是，台灣都沒有相對應的網站，很多工作也很難外包，當然高天師很希望藉由 aiink 所開發出來的模組，能降低開公司的門檻，但台灣其他的基礎建設還差，所以 ... 嘆氣 ...( 或許三通之後，有人會到福建開 call center 吧，笑)
另值得一題得是他所選擇的產品 - "健康食品"
美國 FDA 會把很安全或不確定有明顯療效的藥物開放成為櫃台藥 (不需醫師處方)
比如說 葡萄糖胺 (學名: glucosamine ; 商品名: Vialtril-S 維骨力 ) 有人認為他對退化性關節炎有幫助, 因此有很多業者, 以 glucosamine 為基礎, 加入了其他的成份, 而推出各種不同的商品,
在台灣, 因為 MSM 有機硫（METHYLSULFONYLMETHANE ) 是醫師處方用藥之, 所以有些含有 MSM 的商品被強迫下架 ...
最近則是有那個台灣維他命賣太貴的爭議 ...
而本書作者的商品混合了許多種成份, 其中還包括 冬蟲夏草 (大驚), 然後申請專利, 我覺得這是他最聰明的地方
疑, 好像 RedHat 經營 Linux 喔 (誤) :p
